Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Payments reaches general availability

Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Payments reaches general availability Image: AWS Machine Learning Blog
AWS made AgentCore Payments generally available on August 18, giving AI agents a managed way to discover and pay for APIs, MCP servers and content. The service integrates Coinbase and Stripe Privy wallets, adds infrastructure-level spending limits and observability, and supports both x402 and the Machine Payment Protocol. The release moves agent purchasing from demos toward governed production infrastructure, although developers remain responsible for the agent behavior and payment policies they deploy.
