Flotek Industries said on November 3 that it expects to spend $15 million to $20 million in 2027, focused on expanding its Data Analytics business. The plan includes more proprietary measurement instruments, a larger fleet of equipment that conditions and distributes gas in near real time, and additional manufacturing capacity. The company expects funding to include proceeds from a term loan closed in September 2026. Data Analytics quarterly revenue rose 104% to $18.1 million from $8.9 million. Management identified behind-the-meter power generation and other industrial and infrastructure applications as expansion opportunities. The expansion accompanies working-capital pressure: operating activities used $16.8 million of cash over nine months.
