Cloudflare adds traffic analytics and access rules for personal agents

Cloudflare adds traffic analytics and access rules for personal agents Image: Primary
Cloudflare launched analytics and access policies that let website operators identify supported personal agents and decide which may reach their sites. Operators can allow an agent, block it on pages with ads, or block it throughout the site, with individual choices overriding the overall Agents policy. Security Analytics now separates personal assistant traffic and shows requests by agent, including requested paths, response codes and originating networks. Sites using Account Abuse Protection can also associate agents with user accounts and apply an account-specific firewall rule without blocking the agent for everyone. Account Abuse Protection remains in early access. Cloudflare says carrying user authorization and subscription context through agents is a future goal.
