SWI Group's new computing business has ordered about $1bn of Nvidia systems and plans a UK AI campus that would start at 30MW and expand to 530MW, the company said in a Monday press release. The initial UK facility is due online by the end of 2027, with close to 7,000 Rubin GPUs and 3,500 Vera CPUs. SWI Compute says a US-based AI inference platform has contracted capacity as its first customer. The business offers dedicated and on-demand computing to European startups, laboratories and enterprises under European jurisdiction. The 530MW campus figure represents planned expansion beyond the initial 30MW facility.
