Microsoft revealed pricing for its Surface Laptop Ultra and Surface RTX Spark Dev Box at a San Francisco event, TechCrunch reports. The laptop's two base models start at $2,600 and $3,700, with configurations reaching $5,900. The workstation starts at $6,000 and includes developer tools such as VS Code and GitHub Copilot CLI. Microsoft says the machines are designed to run AI models locally. Their revamped Windows 11 includes Execution Containers, a feature intended to make sandboxing AI agents easier that Satya Nadella said will be available to all Windows 11 users. Dell also opened $3,800 preorders for its XPS 16 Creator Edition, with delivery later in October.
