Mac.apk offers an alpha runtime for Android apps on Apple Silicon Macs

Mac.apk: Run Android apps natively on Apple Silicon Macs - kksimp/Mac.apk Image: Primary
The Mac.apk project offers an alpha runtime that it says runs Android apps directly on Apple Silicon Macs without an emulator or virtual machine. It implements the Android application environment on macOS, launching apps as ordinary Mac processes with their own windows and access to the Mac's GPU. The official app is free, and the code is available under GNU AGPL v3.0, with commercial licensing available. Compatibility varies: some apps work partially or do not run. Android apps also run with the user's macOS permissions, without a phone-style sandbox, allowing them to read and write the user's files.
