Yamato Transport said Friday that 5.31 million sets of personal information belonging to some deferred-payment service users were compromised, Jiji Press reported. The disclosure establishes the scale of a breach first announced on Sept. 29. The records include names, addresses and phone numbers collected over roughly eight years from Oct. 1, 2018. Nikkei separately said about 1.83 million sets of personal information were compromised after fraudulent access to a cloud service used for system development. Park24 said it would finish deleting identity-document images, including driver's licenses, by the end of October following a breach.
