Google is allowing publishers to embed a Preferred Sources button on their websites so readers can designate a publication for greater prominence in Google Search, Discover, and Google News, TechCrunch reported. Google said people are twice as likely to click through to a preferred source when one is available. The company also plans natural-language controls for users to tune Discover feeds.
