Klarent closes €7.13 million seed round for US expansion

Klarent closes €7.13 million seed round for US expansion Image: Primary
Zurich-based software testing startup Klarent has closed a €7.13 million seed round led by Mosaic Ventures, with participation from Moonfire Ventures and angel investors. The company plans to use the funding to enter the United States, grow its engineering team and expand testing across web and mobile applications. Klarent uses large language models to write test code, which then runs deterministically rather than relying on AI to execute tests. A human verification layer ensures customers pay only for verified outcomes. European customers include JD Sports, NZZ and Sixt; the company is also pursuing banks and insurers.
