Anthropic connects Claude and Cowork memory across sessions
Image: Primary Anthropic has updated Claude so memory is shared between Claude chats and its Cowork computer-use agent, Engadget reported.
Context from chats can now carry into cloud Cowork tasks and information from Cowork can return to chat. Memory is enabled by default for Free, Pro, and Max accounts. Users can edit or delete saved topics, while sensitive topics are excluded by default and can be enabled separately.
Anthropic says certain information, including Social Security numbers, criminal history, and immigration status, will not be stored.
