Amazon Bedrock adds domain and location controls to web search

AWS has added domain filtering and user location controls to Web Search on Amazon Bedrock. Developers configure both through the web_search tool in existing OpenAI Responses API requests, according to AWS. A filter can allow up to 100 domains or block up to 100 domains, while optional location parameters tailor results to a geography. The controls are available in all four supported regions: US East in N. Virginia and Ohio, US West in Oregon, and AWS GovCloud in US-West.
