AWS adds security recommendations to Secrets Manager console

AWS added contextual security recommendations to the Secrets Manager console through its Recommended Actions framework. The integration identifies stored secrets that need rotation configured and recommends configuration changes, including using a customer-managed encryption key instead of the default service-provided key. Users can review the recommendations alongside their secrets and act without leaving the console. AWS says the feature is available at no additional cost in all AWS Commercial Regions where Secrets Manager is offered.
