Preprint describes retrieval system used to resolve 100+ production defects

A preprint reports that a knowledge layer for software agents supported root-cause analysis and resolution of 100+ production defects with developer verification. It also traced 35 release regression failures to specific rules and services. The system organizes artifacts recovered from 241 repositories across 18 services. It uses each artifact's origin, service and type to restrict which documents a query can search, excluding similar rules from unrelated services before comparing their content. The authors say they built the layer in under a week. The reported results describe operational use, without a quantified comparison against another retrieval system.
