DOJ probes Andreessen Horowitz board seats at Databricks and Fivetran
Image: Primary The U.S. Justice Department has launched a probe into Andreessen Horowitz over its partners' board seats at Databricks and Fivetran, Bloomberg reported, according to TechCrunch. The investigation concerns Ben Horowitz's Databricks seat and Martin Casado's Fivetran seat after the companies became competitors. TechCrunch said the probe invokes Section 8 of the Clayton Act, which bars an individual or entity from boards of competing companies. DOJ, Databricks and Fivetran declined comment; Andreessen Horowitz did not respond.
