Karnataka technology companies raised $4.6 billion in the first nine months of 2026, up 26 percent from $3.7 billion a year earlier, according to Tracxn data reported by The Print. Only 86 companies secured their first funding, down from 155, while total funding rounds fell from 610 to 397. Late-stage investment rose 32 percent to $2.7 billion. Early-stage funding increased 35 percent to $1.7 billion, while seed-stage funding declined. The larger capital total therefore accompanied fewer deals: late-stage rounds fell to 36 from 44.
