Discord will expose eligible public-server messages to web search

Discord will expose eligible public-server messages to web search Image: Primary
Discord will make discussions in Discoverable Servers accessible on the web without an account or invitation. Public server pages will begin displaying conversation summaries on November 16; eligible messages will follow gradually from mid-December and may be indexed by search engines. The change covers approximately 63,000 publicly listed servers with at least 1,000 members. Administrators can disable channel sharing, and users can exclude future messages, but cannot retract past messages that became public. Sharing defaults on except in the EU, UK, Canada, Brazil, Australia and South Korea. Underage users are excluded, as are messages posted before the December release.
