Google says BigQuery measures is generally available with shared definitions for dashboards and AI

Google says BigQuery measures is generally available with shared definitions for dashboards and AI Image: Primary
Google says BigQuery measures has moved from preview to general availability, adding richer formulas, visualization and metric discovery for enterprise data teams and business AI agents. Measures attach calculations and business definitions to graph entities, preserving each entity's aggregation granularity. An account joined to thousands of transactions can still be counted once. These safeguards address metric consistency and aggregation; they do not establish universal AI answer accuracy. The release adds direct graph visualization in Data Studio and searchable definitions in Knowledge Catalog. Agents can also inspect graph schemas without scanning underlying tables.
