Dutch watchdog reportedly preparing €825 million Uber fine
Uber is set to face an €825 million fine from the Dutch data watchdog over automated systems used to deactivate driver accounts, the Financial Times reported. The regulator says Uber deactivated drivers through automated systems without adequately informing them. The reported penalty would be the second largest under the EU's General Data Protection Regulation.
