Vera leads Python tests but trails rivals in some server workloads

Nvidia Vera CPU Image: Primary
Tom's Hardware found that Nvidia's Vera server CPU led its Python and memory bandwidth benchmarks and often matched or beat comparable AMD Turin and Intel Granite Rapids-AP processors in general server tests. In its estimated SPEC integer throughput results, Vera finished 1.5% ahead of AMD's EPYC 9755. The outlet tested a dual-socket system through remote access provided by Nvidia, which imposed no restrictions on testing or coverage. Vera's memory bandwidth supports data-heavy operations, but its results were weaker in cryptography and several decompression tests. Standardized benchmarks measuring complete AI agent workflows are not yet available, limiting what these component tests establish about agent performance.
