AWS Transfer Family adds retrievable host keys for SFTP migrations

AWS says Transfer Family customers can now store SFTP server host keys in Secrets Manager within their own AWS accounts and retrieve the private key material. Previously, the service stored those keys internally without allowing customers to retrieve them. Customers can reuse a key across servers and AWS Regions, allowing a standby or replacement server to retain the identity clients already trust during failover or migration. IAM policies control who can retrieve the keys. The option is available in every AWS Region where Transfer Family operates.
