Anthropic filing shows broader cross-product use among major customers

Anthropic filing shows broader cross-product use among major customers Image: Primary
Anthropic disclosed in its Monday IPO filing that more than half of customers spending at least $100,000 annually now use both the Claude platform and a first-party application, up from about 30% at the end of last year. The company reported net revenue retention of about 900% at the end of the third quarter. Its distribution arrangements with AWS, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure leave Anthropic holding direct customer contracts and paying the providers a fee, which it says allows it to set pricing. The filing also warns that those cloud partners increasingly compete with Anthropic and could prioritize their own compute requirements or rivals.
