AWS adds cost allocation tags to managed Airflow environments

AWS says Amazon Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow now supports cost allocation tags, allowing platform teams to attribute spending to the team, project or cost center responsible for each environment. Environment tags propagate to the compute running the service, including workers, schedulers and web servers. Teams can track tagged spending in AWS Cost Explorer and AWS Cost and Usage Reports. The feature works with new and existing environments in all AWS Regions offering the service. Users must tag the environment and activate the tag key for cost allocation in the AWS Billing and Cost Management console.
