Unitree says humanoid prototype reached 12.66 meters per second
Chinese robotics company Unitree says its "Superman" humanoid prototype reached 12.66 meters per second and made a two-meter standing jump. The company said the robot's 0.85-meter legs and the prototype were developed in just over three months. The reported top speed is above the article's comparison to Usain Bolt's recorded peak speed. Unitree had earlier said it produced about 18,000 bipedal humanoid robots.
