Ukraine uses modified bomber drone to evacuate wounded soldier

Ukrainian forces evacuated an 80kg wounded soldier 18km from the Kharkiv frontline using a modified Heavy Shot drone, the Daily Mail reported. Mines and Russian drones had prevented a rescue team or ground vehicle from reaching him safely. Gurzuf Defence supplied the aircraft free of charge, and it was modified to maintain stability while carrying the soldier beneath it. Other drones escorted the evacuation aircraft, including drones equipped with nets and attack drones. The soldier reached the evacuation point and is receiving treatment and rehabilitation. A brigade leader said systematic work was needed to make such missions routine.
