Lycia Therapeutics files for IPO and seeks Nasdaq listing

Lycia Therapeutics filed a registration statement on October 5 for a proposed initial public offering and applied to list its common stock on the Nasdaq Global Market under the symbol LYCA. The clinical-stage biotechnology company develops treatments designed to remove disease-causing proteins outside cells. Lycia is conducting Phase 1 trials of LCA-0061 in participants with elevated immunoglobulin E, including food allergy patients, and LCA-0321 in patients with Graves' disease. The offering depends on Nasdaq listing approval, and Lycia cannot sell the securities until its registration statement becomes effective.
