TerraVolt says it has secured control of 1,077 acres in Cassia County, Idaho, for a planned data center campus with an initial 240MW of on-site gas generation. It has signed an agreement for 55,000 MMBtu per day from the nearby Williams Northwest natural gas pipeline. The company plans to use off-grid power to avoid grid interconnection delays, then sell prepared sites to data center operators and supply infrastructure services under long-term agreements. Chief executive Joel Stone described the land arrangements as option agreements that allow planning and environmental due diligence to advance. County and state permitting remain part of that work.
