Banglalink installs 50kW solar array at Cumilla data center

Banglalink has installed a 50kW rooftop solar array at its Cumilla data center in eastern Bangladesh, Data Center Dynamics reported. The system occupies 2,500 square feet of unused rooftop space and is expected to generate about 85,000kWh annually. The Veon-owned operator says the array will reduce the facility's grid-electricity use by around six percent and cut annual emissions by 52 tons. Banglalink previously completed an 80kW array at its Gazipur data center.
