Atlassian says Marketplace passes $7 billion in lifetime sales

Atlassian says Marketplace passes $7 billion in lifetime sales Image: Primary
Atlassian says its Marketplace has surpassed $7 billion in lifetime sales, with the latest $1 billion transacted in nine months, its fastest such interval. Nearly half of lifetime sales occurred in the last three years. The marketplace sells apps that extend Jira, Confluence and other Atlassian products. As of the end of June 2026, more than 40% of Atlassian customers had at least one Marketplace app installed. Lifetime sales measure customer spending on paid apps across Cloud, Data Center and Server since monetization began in 2012; they are not Atlassian's own revenue.
