Google releases Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash with longer videos and lower pricing

Google releases Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash with longer videos and lower pricing Image: Primary
Google announced general availability of Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash across the Gemini API and Gemini for business, with 720p video priced at $0.07 per second, a 30% reduction from Gemini Omni 1.1. The model generates and edits clips up to 15 seconds long, up from 10 seconds. Users can revise a clip through follow-up instructions rather than regenerate it, and upscale drafts to 1080p or 4K. Google says the model better preserves visual references and supports distinct voices for multiple speakers. Outputs carry a SynthID watermark; fast sports action, rapid script changes and complex physics remain areas under development.
