Apple released Xcode 27.3 beta 1 with GitHub Copilot available in its built-in coding assistant, according to release notes reported by 9to5Mac. The addition lets developers at companies standardized on Copilot use that tool directly within Xcode. Copilot joins existing support for OpenAI, Anthropic and Google coding tools. The beta includes Swift 6.4 and requires a Mac running macOS Tahoe 26.6 or later. The general Xcode 27.3 release is expected in December.
