Pinterest paper reports launch of whole-page ad optimization system

Pinterest researchers reported that PinDCO, a dynamic creative optimization system, has launched in the Pinterest Ads platform. The system scores image, title and layout components, adjusts scores for grid placement and rendered size, and prunes candidates before serving. The paper says online A/B tests produced a 3.09% click-through-rate lift alongside positive whole-page metrics. The paper does not provide absolute traffic, revenue, test duration, or experiment scope.
