Firefox beta adds form filling from tabs and webpage monitoring

firefox-fill Image: Primary
Mozilla is rolling out form filling and webpage monitoring to Firefox's Smart Window desktop beta in the US and Canada. The form tool draws information from selected open tabs to suggest entries, such as work history for a job application. Users can select which tabs supply information, but source-page data is shared with Google's Gemini 3.1 Flash Lite to generate suggestions. The feature currently handles text fields on forms with at least four fields. Page monitoring can check daily or weekly, but runs only while the browser is open.
