Micron Taiwan bonuses accompany continuing union pay dispute

Micron is paying three October bonuses to more than 4,300 production-line employees in Taiwan, Tom's Hardware reported, citing Digitimes. Some 700 eligible employees will receive five years' worth of salary. The payout includes performance and mass-production incentives plus a one-time $31,000 appreciation bonus, prorated for employees with less than a year of service. The Taoyuan union remains in a pay dispute, with nearly 70% of members rejecting management's latest offer. Further talks are tentatively set for November 6. A new global quarterly profit bonus starts in January 2027; the first payment will be entirely in cash.
