Anthropic prospectus details up to $120.5 billion in SpaceXAI compute contracts

Anthropic prospectus details up to $120.5 billion in SpaceXAI compute contracts Image: Primary
Anthropic agreed to spend up to $120.5 billion on SpaceXAI computing arrangements through 2029, Gadget Review reported, citing its IPO prospectus. SpaceX's affiliated AI infrastructure arm would supply Nvidia-powered computing capacity while Elon Musk's xAI competes with Anthropic's Claude. Payments could reach approximately $3.1 billion per month once full contracted capacity arrives, currently expected in December 2026. The prospectus puts total future compute obligations at roughly $417 billion across data centers, equipment and cloud services. The SpaceXAI figure is a contractual ceiling. Both parties can exit with 90 days' notice after initial lock-in periods ending in January and March 2027, limiting the amount SpaceX can count as guaranteed revenue.
