OpenAI offers Decisions API beta for classification and scoring

Decisions | OpenAI API Image: Primary
OpenAI's Decisions API is available in public beta for evaluating text, images or both and returning probabilities, fixed-category choices or rubric scores. OpenAI says it returns typed answers about 10x faster than the Responses API. The dedicated /v1/decisions endpoint currently supports only gpt-6-luna. Input costs $0.10 per 1M tokens, with no cache-read, cache-write or output-token charges; regional processing premiums and long-context input pricing multipliers apply. Developers can use the answers to classify content, route requests and prioritize work. Images must be supplied as inline base64 data URLs; hosted image URLs and file identifiers are unsupported. The endpoint supports Zero Data Retention and HIPAA use for eligible customers, with data residency and regional processing in the United States and Europe.
