Perplexity launched Teammates, work-focused AI agents that it says can run around the clock and perform different jobs simultaneously within a workspace. Access requires its $200 per month Max subscription. Teammates integrate with Perplexity Computer and draw on existing projects, skills and memory from the company's tools. Perplexity says the agents support collaboration on ongoing, large-scale work. Users can track each agent's progress through individual threads in the Perplexity app and interact with the agents in Slack.
