Stripe says it raised ACH and wire payout limits to $100 million

Stripe says it raised ACH and wire payout limits to $100 million Image: Primary
Stripe says it raised ACH and wire limits on its Outbound Payments API to $100 million after migrating its own vendor payments exposed transactions too large for the system. The higher limits let more high-value payments use automated approval, recording and reconciliation workflows instead of manual processing. By October 2026, Stripe says it had paid over $1 billion to more than 3,400 vendors in the US and UK through Global Payouts. It reports a 99.9% payout success rate and estimated finance and treasury savings of 20-30 hours a month. Stripe also added customizable bank statement descriptors to help recipients identify payments. Moving more of its cross-border and cross-currency vendor payments onto the product remains ongoing.
