Intel suspends paid vulnerability bounty program
Image: Primary Intel has suspended its bug bounty program, which previously offered awards of up to $100,000, according to its Intigriti program page and reporting by Phoronix. Researchers can still submit flaws through Intel's replacement responsible-disclosure program, but it offers no rewards. Intel did not provide a reason for the change. The old program covered software, hardware, firmware and open-source projects, and Intel said it received 105 of 231 CVEs addressed in 2020 through the program.
