Infleqtion demonstrated 30 logical qubits using 80 physical qubits on its Sqale architecture, CTO and cofounder Pranav Gokhale said in an interview published by Yahoo Finance. Logical qubits encode quantum information across physical qubits to support error correction. Gokhale attributed the ratio to the company's neutral-atom architecture and connectivity between all qubits. He said the system flags the location of lost atoms and uses classical computing to resolve the problem in a few milliseconds, within a 10 to 20 millisecond operational window. The company's goal is 100 fully functional logical qubits by 2028.
