Jazz reaches 1,000 live 5G sites in Pakistan
Image: DCD Pakistani telecom operator Jazz has expanded its 5G network to 1,000 live sites, according to the company. Jazz launched its 5G service in March after securing a licence and says the rollout now covers markets including Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, Multan, Faisalabad, Sialkot and Gujranwala. The Veon subsidiary plans to increase the network to 2,500 5G sites by year-end. The company claims it is the first Pakistani operator to reach the 1,000-site milestone.
