Apple opens orders for M5 Ultra Mac Studio with up to 512GB memory
Image: Primary Apple announced Mac Studio models with M5 Max and the new M5 Ultra, with preorders open August 25 and availability beginning September 22. Apple says the M5 Ultra configuration supports up to 512GB of unified memory and 1.2TB/s of memory bandwidth, while Thunderbolt 5 can link multiple systems for distributed AI inference. The company also says a four-system cluster can deliver up to three times the inference performance of one system.
