Google adds live video avatars to Gemini Enterprise

Google says Gemini 3.8 Live with Live Avatar is now available in Gemini Enterprise, adding generated video personas to its live dialogue model. Enterprise agents can process audio and visual input while producing synchronized speech and video, and can call other tools in the background while a conversation continues. Google says the feature can switch among 97 languages, adapting speech and facial movement during a conversation. Organizations can use preset avatars, but creating one from a reference image requires enterprise allowlisting. Google says it watermarks generated audio and video with SynthID. The availability gives enterprises another format for customer service and interactive walkthroughs.
