GitHub previews HydraFusion multi-model coding orchestration Image: Primary
GitHub introduced Project HydraFusion as a research preview for coding tasks. The system selects among single-model, cascade, and critique workflows, using models from multiple providers to draft, review, revise, or escalate work. GitHub said its offline evaluations found a HydraFusion configuration improved verified TerminalBench 2.1 task quality by 4.9 percentage points at 67% lower estimated cost than Claude Opus 5. The company recommends first-turn, single-prompt coding tasks for the preview.
