Senator questions Trump Mobile's authority to offer international calls

Sen. Maggie Hassan alleged in a letter to Trump Mobile that the company appears to lack required authorization for the international calling portion of its service. She also said it appears not to have filed a required robocall prevention plan, while partner Liberty Mobile Wireless submitted an incomplete filing. The letter raises security questions following a report that hackers stole personal data of 3,615 customers and Trump Mobile's earlier confirmation that a vendor exposed customer data online. Trump Mobile advertises calls to more than 230 countries and territories; Hassan said an FCC database search suggests it lacks the necessary Section 214 authorization.
