Redis adds official open-source image to AWS Marketplace

Redis adds official open-source image to AWS Marketplace Image: Primary
Redis says its open-source software is now available through an official AWS Marketplace listing, giving teams a Redis-published machine image to launch on Amazon EC2. The image packages Redis OSS 8.2 on Ubuntu 24.04 and lets customers retain control of their infrastructure and deployment configuration. Redis says version 8.2 is eligible for up to five years of maintenance, security scanning and patches for newly identified vulnerabilities. Applicable Marketplace charges appear on customers' AWS bills, and eligible spending may count toward AWS commitments under contract terms and programme limits. Customers remain responsible for security settings, monitoring, backups and the deployment lifecycle; Redis manages the version and patches.
