AWS Batch adds automatic job metrics in CloudWatch

AWS says AWS Batch now automatically publishes job metrics to Amazon CloudWatch in all AWS Regions where Batch is available. The feature gives operators visibility into queue health, failure rates and job durations throughout a batch job's lifecycle. Metrics count jobs entering states such as submitted, running, succeeded and failed, and measure time between states. They are grouped by job queue in the AWS/Batch namespace. Operators can inspect them through the Batch or CloudWatch consoles, AWS CLI and AWS SDKs.
