Model ML reportedly seeks more than $100 million at valuation above $1 billion

Model ML, a startup selling AI software to investment banks and other financial institutions, is in talks to raise more than $100 million at a valuation above $1 billion, according to people familiar with the discussions. The funding has not been completed, according to the report, but would value the company above the billion-dollar threshold if talks result in a deal.
