Mercor says gateway routing cut AI batch jobs to 2 to 3 hours

Mercor says gateway routing cut AI batch jobs to 2 to 3 hours Image: Primary
Mercor says AI evaluation batch jobs that stretched beyond 12 hours now finish in 2 to 3 hours after it adopted Vercel AI Gateway, according to a Vercel customer account. More inference capacity and routing between providers helped work continue when individual providers reached their rate limits. In its first 10 days using the gateway, Mercor routed 18 million requests and 63 billion tokens without hitting rate limits. Its evaluation and labeling jobs can carry 24-hour client deadlines. Mercor continues to use multiple gateways and vendors.
