SWI Group launched SWI Compute, saying the new AI infrastructure business has ordered approximately $1 billion of Nvidia systems and finalized its first customer contracts. The company says it has access to 3.6 gigawatts of power capacity secured by the group across Europe and the US. Its first large-scale UK facility is expected to come online by the end of 2027, initially using 30 MW to support close to 7,000 Rubin GPUs and 3,500 Vera CPUs. That phase belongs to a campus planned to reach 530 MW. SWI Compute plans dedicated and on-demand capacity for AI companies, laboratories and enterprises. Its first contracted customer is a US-based AI inference platform.
