D-Robotics closes $400 million robotics-chip financing
Image: Primary D-Robotics, a Chinese designer of chips for humanoid and industrial robots, announced a $400 million financing round on September 17. The company says it will use the capital to broaden its Sunrise chip range and build software spanning model training, deployment and real-time joint control. D-Robotics reports that cumulative Sunrise shipments have exceeded 8 million units and that its S600 chip has been adopted by more than 20 embodied-AI customers. Mirae Asset led the round, according to the report.
